Comfort Hotel ERA Kyoto Toji

Breakfast choice are plentiful from western to eastern. The rest area is open until 11PM. Coffee all day long! There are 2 restaurants (see photos) nearby but i didn't go in. Other places like Lawson, KFC, Family Mart and FRESCO are walking distance. This is a brand new hotel and comfortable stay. Bathtub available and the triple bed bedroom is quite big. Staff very polite and helpful. I lost my hotel key and get replace with no charge. Location is perfect because near Toji Station (Kintentsu Line). May need to take bus to other attraction place in Kyoto. Hotel has the travelling guide (bus/train) printed copy for free. Money changing kiosk also available at the lobby for emergency use.

This hotel stays true to its name - Comfort Hotel, and indeed we were very much comfortable throughout our stay. It is exceptional. 👍👍👍. 1. The room was spacious and it had everything we needed. Clean towels were provided daily and they also provide comfortable sleepwear :) 2. All of the staff were very helpful and courteous - from the self check-in machine to the daily breakfast to the luggage storage after check out, our requests for band aids for my daughter - everybody was very helpful. 3. Location - just in front of Kintetsu train station and 2 and 3 blocks away from bus terminal on both sides, and with restaurants, a supermarket and convenience stores nearby. About 15min walk to Kyoto station and 10mins to Aeon mall. And most importantly located in the quier side of Kyoto :) 4. Breakfast was also delicious and it had a wide variety of breads, salad and smoothies - plus the japanese sausages, eggs, meat and veggies. 5. Reasonably priced - For the rate that we paid, this hotel exceeded my expectations. 6. Amenities - their dining area was beautifully-decorated and it also serves as a library/reading area as there are books. There are also coin laundries (but we didn't try them). There's also a luggage area where you can store your luggage beyond check out if you need to just go out for some time before your flight. I love everything about this hotel. We found this hotel to be great if you're not planning on spending a lot of time in the room. For us, the location was superb. There is a (non JR) train station across the street and several bus routes. (It's weird, but you don't really hear the train, and our room was very close to the track) If you're planning to use IC with or without a JR pass and you don't mind public transportation, this is a great location. You can walk to Kyoto station and Toji Temple and you can easily catch a bus to Gion. Also there is a convenience store very close by. The facility has laundry, vending, and a nice breakfast that had enough variety for us. The staff was very friendly and helpful with shipping bags and giving directions. This hotel also has a little machine in the lobby where you can exchange currency, which was extremely convenient. Random, but the hairdryer was amazing to keep my (natural, afro) curls popping without frizz on washday!

The location of the hotel is extremely convenient as it is just opposite the Toji subway station and also very near Kyoto station. The rooms have excellent view of the neighbourhood and also the hills that surround Kyoto. The lounge on the ground floor with very comfortable seating accommodation, books and free coffee and other small snacks really enhances the quality of living in a hotel. One can relax comfortably in that area after a day's hectic schedule. The breakfast served by them is also excellent with lots of options. The staff are also very pleasant and helpful. In short, the experience will be cherished by us for many coming years.

The location - the property is just at the nook of the station and very well located centrally.. itbhas great connectivity to all the major locations from here. The property - The property itself is beautiful and excpetionally comfortable . The hotel has very good amenities. It is spacious and comfortable with big rooms and lovely view . It also has a beautiful cafe in the ground floor which has complimentary beverages and is super relaxing . Do remove some time to spend there , it's really vibrant . The staff are extremely polite and really helpful at any hour of the day . We had a great time here and we would highly recommend this property .
